迷ったぞ。たぶん間違った方向に来ちゃったよ。

解説 get［be］ lost・・・(道に)迷う or 迷っている。
☆Damn！・・・くそ！(or Damn it!)
☆pull over・・・(車を)路肩に寄せて止める。
3."I've got a flat tire. ☆ Can you give me a hand?"
タイヤバンクしちゃったよ。手を貸してくれる？
☆"I'd be glad to."
ええ、喜んで。
解説 get a flat tire・・・タイヤがパンクする。
I'd be glad to.・・・喜んで(= It's my pleasure)

so what?・・・それが何だって言うんだ？
☆make no difference (to....)・・・どちらでも同じだよ。

"It sure is. But chances are it'll clear up later on."
本当だね。たぶんこのあと晴れると思うよ。
解説 ☆it sure is.・・・(返答で)全く or 本当だ。
change are(that)~・・・たぶん〜だ
later on・・・この後で

私の収入は4人の家族を養うのは十分ではないけれど、
それで何とかやっていくしかない。
解説 income・・・収入
adequate・・・十分な(= enouth or sufficient)
☆make the best of...・・・(良くない状況)の中で何とかやっていく。
補足 ⇔ make the most of ...・・・(有利な状況)を最大限利用する。
7. "You've got to keep up with it.
遅れずについていかなくっちゃ。
Once you fall behind, it's hard to catch up."
一度遅れをとったら、追いつくのは大変だよ。
解説 ☆You've got to do...・・・〜しなきゃ(= You have to do )
keep up with...・・・〜について行く
fall behind...・・・〜に遅れをとる
catch up(with)・・・〜に追いつく
